MOTUS / KYMAT

MOTUSKYMAT
[ 001 — MOTUS ]
Nothing here
is still.
Light shifts. Sound travels. Form answers the room.
Motus is a body of kinetic work in which motion is not an effect, but a material. Taking its name from the Latin for movement, the collection explores the forces that act upon us before thought: tide, wind, vibration and time.
[ ORIGINAL COLLECTION — 01 ]
Kymat
The colour of the sea.
The pattern of the wind.

Motus Kymat begins with a recognition both simple and unsettling: before nature, we are powerless.
These hand-crafted illuminated works translate that truth into light and form. Their colour belongs to the sea. Their pyramidal field holds the pattern of wind— an invisible force made visible in repeated peaks. As light travels across the surface, the work changes with the room, the hour and the viewer.
For Met4be4r, the sea is a siren: magnetic, beautiful and impossible to ignore. It is also a destroyer of those who mistake beauty for permission. That tension lives in every edge.
The sharpness can cut, figuratively and literally—a physical reminder that wonder and danger are often the same thing seen from different distances, and that life is at once vivid, forceful and impossibly fragile.

01 Light as weather
02 Sound as pulse

“The sea draws me like a siren’s call. It gives life, and it destroys. Its beauty cannot be separated from its power.
